The Autoclave is used for curing a wide variety of laminated components for the aircraft industry. Lycopodium undertook total project responsibility to relocate, detail design, procure, refurbish, install and commission the entire Autoclave including the cure control system. The technology for this project was provided under a manufacturing agreement with Thermal Equipment Corporation of the USA.
Services provided included the cooling water, compressed air and nitrogen pressurisation systems, gas heating, part vacuum control, part temperature and pressure sensing and associated electrical system.
